Patrick Ricard’s funeral is on Wednesday

The French Federation of Spirits (FFS) on Monday welcomed the memory of Patrick Ricard, son of the inventor of pastis and Chairman of Pernod Ricard, died Friday at the age of 67, in a statement referring to as a “business leader of great humanity but also of visionary.”
“This is a great loss for the family of spirits, which he always wore the colors,” said the FFS, adding that Patrick Ricard was “an example for our spirits companies of which he was a great ambassador” .

Mr. Ricard’s funeral will be held on Wednesday Embiez Island (Var), near Toulon, his family said in the book of Figaro on Monday.
The Embiez Island, with an area of 95 hectares and is owned since 1958 by the Ricard family, it houses the tomb of Paul Ricard, the founder of the group, and Paul Ricard Oceanographic Institute.
